The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering® changes lives forever by empowering North American missionaries to bring the gospel to the lost. With over 269 million lost people, North America and its major cities are some of the most spiritually dark places in the world. Join us on the mission to equip every missionary and reach every lost person in the United States and Canada
In 1895, the first missions offering to benefit the work of home missions (now known as North American missions) was promoted and taken up by Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU). The Home Mission Board (now known as the North American Mission Board) asked for $5,000 toward its work. WMU efforts exceeded that goal. Today, more than $1 billion has been raised since the beginning of the offering, for North American mission efforts. Every dollar of the offering (named after missions advocate/WMU leader, Annie Armstrong, in 1934) goes to missionaries and their work of sharing the life-transforming gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the United States, Canada and their territories.
